Have you ever found the secret to doing more when you truly step away from social media and all the noise? And you've probably heard this expression before if you've been in business for anywhere from two to three years that less is more. And you've probably been in a place where you thought, now, how does that even work? Maybe you're in a place right now where you're thinking, if I stop, I'm gonna crash or nothing is gonna get done. On today's episode, I'm gonna be sharing with you three different ways that you can do so, because we're stepping into the topic of replenishment. And I'm gonna be sharing some of my own life experience over the last few weeks. So let's go. Welcome to Built for Confidence, the podcast where kingdom builders rebuild identity, sharpen clarity, and lead with conviction. I am your host, Coach Paul Ibarra, and every week we're cutting through the noise to help you stop second guessing, start deciding, and build with confidence right where God has placed you. So listen, drop a review, drop a comment, hit that like, subscribe, all the things, and let's get started. As I said in the beginning, I'm gonna be sharing with you some of my own life with you and all the different things that have been taking place since the month of April. And if you've been following this podcast over the last few months, you understand what April was for me. It was a month of reset. And to be honest, a whole lot of replenishment. So first I want to share with you some of the stats that I found that I believe will totally blow your mind. You see, when I started this podcast, it was in December, a few weeks before we headed out to Israel. And when I started looking at my stats this morning, checking my analytics, I discovered that from December 1st, 2025 through March 31st, 2026, I had 149 downloads. Not too bad, right? I was sharing stuff on social media, sending it through my email list, doing all the small reels and the snippets and all the things that we do as content creators. Nothing wrong with that. Then we went to Israel. And when I went to Israel, I already had a few episodes pre-recorded, but not 100% like done when I got back. So there was kind of a little bit of a shaky moment. When I got back in February, the Lord began to show me that he wanted me to slow down. He wanted me to not only slow down and reflect about the trip, but also about my business. And I didn't do so. I kept going. And going into April, I was gonna go hard. I was gonna go and post a reel every day. I was gonna send an email out to every day to all my people and thought this was gonna make my business that much more successful. But then something happened. The Lord stopped me in my tracks and said, This month, you're gonna reset. I want you to go 30 days off social media with nothing going on. I mean, there were a few posts that he allowed me to put out and small inspiration, but I literally shut my notifications off. And I'll tell you right now, when I checked my stats after coming back from that hiatus, on March 31st, I had 149 downloads, like I said earlier, four months of podcasting. May 1st, I had 290 downloads. No real posts going on, no reels, no sound bites, none of the things that I was normally doing. And so with that, I want to give a huge shout out to my friend Michelle Rawls. And come to find out, we had just known each other for a short while. She said, I've been sharing your podcast out with everyone that I come in contact with. And that blew me away. My podcast literally doubled in one month. And when I looked at my stats this morning from December 1st to July 15th, I had 412 downloads. And that's from people sharing it out, from people believing in what I do versus me pushing so hard thinking I had to do all the things. So I want to thank you, number one, for being a part of this podcast. And just want to mention that I've started a new IG channel, and it's called the Built for Confidence Podcast. The link will be down in the show notes. Go and check it out. So today, normally we were talking about Elijah, right? But as I was reading my devotional today, getting back to work, getting back in the lab, in my office, doing all the things, I came across something that I want to share with you on how you can do more. And here it is by listening more to God, getting so clear in your mind that it's proof when you do the work. Now you might be saying, but I thought this was less was more. But here's the thing the more amount of God that you have means the less amount of you. What does that even mean? If you pray more, spend more time with God, guess what? Less work for you. Okay? So I'm gonna give you those three bullet points, like I said earlier, that are going to help you shape a new rhythm so that you can replenish. Number one, you must limit your social media exposure. And here's the truth you come across social media and you call it taking care of business. But at the end of the day, most days, you begin to scroll, you begin to get numb, you begin to share out mindless videos, and as you limit your social media presence and your social media work, you're gonna get clear. Why? Because social media and your phone have become a dopamine hit. You wake up with your phone, you go to sleep with your phone, you call people with your phone, you post with your phone, you create videos with your phone, you're trapped to your phone. But see, by limiting your social media, you're gonna increase your mindset, you're gonna increase the moments of what do I do now? Maybe you get up and go for a walk. Maybe you go and pick up a book and read. Maybe you make a phone call to somebody you've been meaning to talk to in a while and allow your mind to rest. Number two, have a digital Sabbath. Now, this is different than a social media break. This is about taking everything in your life. You don't have to be on your laptop 24-7. You don't have to carry your phone around. You could literally put it in another room while you do work. I'm not saying that you don't do work. What I'm saying is a device sabbatical. Okay? When I took my hiatus, my podcast doubled. And right now, my email list is growing. My posts are a whole lot more clear. And I'm telling you, when I spent more time with my family and my friends, that digital Sabbath replenished me. I was able to go for more walks. I was able to go touch more dirt. I was able to go plant something and also do things for the community. Number three, and this is something that I really need to work on as well. Embrace a hobby. I mean, I have hobbies, I just haven't tapped into them. A lot of people think hobbies are for old people, but if you're listening to this podcast, you're probably in your 40s to your 70s. We're a little bit older, but we're not dead yet. A hobby is a great way to give your mind time to breathe. You see, when I start doing woodwork and I start repurposing things, so much revelations come to me. It's almost as if God is speaking to me through the wood. I'm just saying. So let's commit to embracing those things in our lives. I believe those three things are going to help you have a better rhythm, a better time of replenishment, because God wants you to do so much more in your life when you step away from the things that have had that have clouded your vision. So, once again, this is Coach Polybarra. Your call to action today is go check out the Bill for Confidence IG channel. Let's get some followers, let's do the things, drop a comment, share it out. You know how we do here. And if you're also interested in growing your business, head on over to our Kingdom Linked Network. The link is down below. This is where you connect, build community, and collab with other business owners. So my encouragement for you today is to keep going. Get your rest and continue to replenish your mind and allow God to do what he does. So before I leave, here's a few scriptures that you could take to ponder on. Number one is read Galatians 5, 22 through 26. It's all about the fruit of the Spirit. Romans 12 and 2. We know this one very well. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And also Philippians chapter 4 talks about focusing on what is lovely, honorable, and all the things that brings God glory and praise. And finally, 1 Corinthians 15, 33, do not be deceived. Bad company ruins good morals. So hang around the right people so you can find your rhythm in a better place. Because that's where God wants you to be. I need people, you need people. I need friends, you need friends, so that we can build community and do life well. So that's all I got for you today. I love you. God bless you. We'll be back with next week as we tap into the conversation of return. We'll talk soon. I want to thank you once again for tuning in to the Built for Confidence podcast. If you have found value in any of these episodes, do me a huge favor, drop me a review, and also let me know which episode has touched your life.
